I can’t believe how quickly this week flew by! While it was mostly full of positive things, I have to admit that I am feeling a bit drained. I sometimes find myself not making plans for Friday night and instead curling up early with a good book or TV show. It’s these little “me time” moments that I really treasure, and often are what allow me to be energized for my weekend plans.

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Being Mindful

Mindfulness meditation is definitely a thing, but its also a thing I really struggle with. And I’m actually trained in leading meditations! While thinking about sitting still and focusing on my breath for any length of time makes me break out in sweat, I do recognize the importance of taking a few moments at the beginning and end of each day to reflect. This 5-Minute Journal comes in a book and app version, which makes it really simple to get my head in the right space.

TWO // One Bag, or Four?

I feel like Kate Spade has really read my mind with the launch of their “Make It Mine” handbag collection. You start with a basic bag but can add any number of strap, cover, and accessory combinations to change it around and customize it. This is a great way to get around the “I have to many handbags but still want different styles” conundrum. While the price is a little steep, you will be getting the Kate Spade quality that will last for years.

THREE // First Dates

One of the Youtubers I have been following for years has a series in which she goes out on a first date with a guy and films it. She hasn’t done one in a while but posted a new one today. I thought it was so sweet, especially the part where he brings a cute gift for her.

FOUR // On Etiquette, Part II

In last week’s inaugural On My Radar post, I shared a new podcast I have been loving called Awesome Etiquette. I am by no means a stuffy person who will make a to-do about etiquette, but I do enjoy the topic. I love learning about the origin of certain customs as well as little ways to be more considerate towards others. The newest edition of Emily Post’s Etiquette came out this week and is now sitting on my desk, waiting for me to crack it open throughout the weekend.

FOUR // Got A Secret, Can You Keep It?

OMG, Pretty Little Liars is back! I missed the first episode but have been catching up this week and I cannot believe I am forced to wait a week between episodes. Will we actually find out the answers to all of our questions before the show (finally) ends this season?
