I have a love obsession with leopard. We’ve been in an intense relationship for years, ever since I found a perfect pair of leopard print ballet flats at Target. They were perfect: cheap, comfortable, and I received endless compliments on them. I wore them until they literally fell apart. I have been on a hunt for a new pair since that day.
Leopard is the new “it” neutral these days and I have quite a few pieces in my closet (enough to feel well-rounded, not so much that I could be mistaken for Snooki). The shoes remain elusive, as I cannot seem to find a pair that are so well-priced or comfortable as my first. But a leopard print clutch–should be simple, right?
It took me almost an entire year to find just the right one. There are many beautiful options, but I wanted one that was roomy, not made of calf hair, and didn’t break the bank. I wanted to find it in a store and not have to go through the endless circle of ordering, hating, returning.
I ended up with this gorgeous clutch from Aldo, which also happened to be on sale:
I love this clutch so much and have found it to be really versatile, taking me from daytime work meetings to evening drinks with my girlfriends. I love that it is not made from calf hair but still shows the print so vibrantly. It is roomy and won’t get ruined if it happens to rain.
